1. Who is eligible to obtain Wound Care Certification and CEU Credits?
Wound Learning Academy is designed to improve the quality of care in the wound care community and to prepare all health care professionals to perform at the highest level of care across all settings. Wound Care Certification is open to all allied medical professionals in the wound care industry looking to further their wound care knowledge and recognition. CEU renewal credits are recognized and approved nationwide and are provided to Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurses, and Administrators with full and unrestricted professional licenses in at least one state and in all states in which they currently practice. Wound Care Certification is open to all allied medical professional in the wound care industry looking to further their wound care knowledge and recognition. CEU credits are provided to RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and Administrators with full and unrestricted professional licenses in at least one state and in all states in which they currently practice. This course does not make you a wound care or treatment nurse. The course will teach you a lot of the knowledge that is needed to be a successful wound care or treatment nurse, and the certification will also make you stand out. However, you will need to apply for such wound care nurse positions. Wound care and treatment nurses are hired without this certification but acquiring a wound care certification by SNF Wound Care increases your knowledge base and professional advancement. The WSOC certificate portrays to employers and colleagues that as a nurse you have specialized interest and skill in wound care. This WSOC certification represents advanced knowledge in wound care and an addition to a nurse’s skill set. Clinicians who have the WSOC Certification have gone on to receive pay increases and promotions because of their increased knowledge base but this is not guaranteed. The course also provides an opportunity to build a professional and personal network with nurses and wound care specialists. It also provides professional visibility which can increase future advancement in nursing positions.

3. How will I receive a Wound Care Certified Badge?
Candidates who successfully complete our Wound Care Certification program will receive a digital Wound Care Certificate along with a complimentary Wound Care Certified identification badge within 2-4 weeks of successful completion. Wound Care Certified identification badges are mailed out to candidates. They are personalized with your Name, Picture, Nursing License Number, Wound Care Certification Number, and Validity Date.

4. Do I need to re-certify my Wound Care Certification?
Wound Care Certification must be renewed every 2 years for a renewal fee of $179.99 and successful completion of a recertification exam.

5. What is the pass rate for the Wound Care Certification Exam? How many times can I take the Wound Care Certification exam in order to pass?
Candidates must score 70% or higher on the Wound Care exam in order to pass and receive Wound Care Certification. We have over 90% pass rate. Candidates have the opportunity to retake the online Wound Care Certification exam up to three times within a 4-month period in order to obtain a score of 70% or higher and receive their Wound Care Certification.

6. How do I get a verification of my nursing license?
You can get a verification of your nursing license by going to your state's nursing website and searching for yourself.

7. How long do I have access to course materials in order to prepare for the Wound Care Certification exam?
You will have access to the online portal and course materials for a 4-month period. If you wish to extend your access after this period, please email [email protected]. If you obtained the course for free with a coupon, you only have 30-day access.

8. What is the difference between the Wound Care Certification Program and the 30 CEU Wound Care Management Course?
All programs and curriculums are recognized and approved nationwide by the California Board of Registered Nursing & California Board of Vocational/Practical Nursing and meet nursing license renewal requirements in all 50 states. Wound Care Certification is by the SNF Wound Care Wound Learning Academy and is valid for 2 years upon successful completion of the program and passing of the certification exam. The differences between the 30 CEUs Wound Care Management Course and the Wound Care Certification Program include: The 30 CEUs Wound Care Management Course does not require passing a final certification exam at the end of the curriculum. You will receive only a Certificate of Completion of 30 CEUs in Wound Care Management upon course completion for RN & LVN/LPN license renewal requirements. You will not obtain Wound Care Certification by the Wound Learning Academy unless you upgrade your purchase to the Wound Care Certification Program, at which point you will be required to successfully pass the wound care certification exam.

9. What is your Refund Policy? Can I get a refund if I don’t pass the Wound Care Certification Exam?
Full access to our Wound Care Certification program is granted and remains valid for a 4-month period once you’ve created an account, registered, and paid for the program. You will be able to retake the certification exam up to three times in a 4-month period in order to score 70% or higher and obtain wound care certification.
